For first time riders, it is recommend that a smaller body bike with and engine that has less power be purchased for the simple fact that it takes time to get used to riding and you may not be very experienced at first to handle a large machine. You may not want to take the chance of wrecking a much more expensive new motorcycle when you’re just learning how to ride. Once you become more experienced, then you can go with the more expensive bike.
